To be eligible, an applicant must be registered as a full time student at an accredited post secondary education institution for the current academic school year and be a child of a local Union Member whose residence is in the Province of Alberta. Revenue Canada information slips will be issued by the GPC to the recipients but the first $500.00 of education grants are tax free.
