Brother Troy Wright was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where he attended Pasadena College. Brother received a degree in Associated Arts and played football which earned him a full football scholarship to the Tulane University in New Orleans.

Brother Wright moved to Edmonton in 1988 and has been proud a Member of General Teamsters, Local Union No. 362 since 1990 where he began his ongoing career with United Parcel Service. Troy has been a Shop Steward for several years.

In early 2009 Brother Wright was appointed by the Executive Board to serve as a Trustee and elected by acclamation to this position at the 2010 nomination meetings by his fellow Brothers and Sisters. Troy is very proud to be a Trustee.

Troy is an avid sports fan and has a passion for fast cars. If he's not on the golf course enjoying his free time, he's at home watching his favourite sports, which include football, basketball and golf. He plans to retire in a warmer climate where he can enjoy his passion for golf everyday.

Brother Wright is the proud father of two sons, one of which is a second generation Teamster.
